METHODOLOGY - Demoralization
In his description of the process of "demoralization", Yuri Bezmenov made one statement that should stand out over anything else:

"Most of it [demoralization] is done by Americans, to Americans, thanks to lack of moral standards."

The United States of America was founded on the belief that all individuals were created "equal" in that, as a result of their birth, each has an equal, inherent, and unalienable, right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of  (NOT guarantee of) happiness".  John Dickinson, a signer of the Constitution and the Governor of Pennsylvania, expressed this particularly American belief very succinctly:

"Kings of parliaments could not give the rights essential to happiness….We claim them from a higher
source - from the King of kings, and Lord of all the earth.  They are not annexed to us by parchments
and seals.  They are created in us by the decrees of Providence, which establish the laws of our nature.
They are born with us; exist with us; and cannot be taken from us by any human power without taking
       our lives."

Our founders understood that the true strength of a society - and, therefore, its system of governance and law - is a sound moral standard that transcends time and space.  Such a moral standard is an integral part of "Religion" which is an integral part of American government.  No one has ever expressed this better than President John Adams:

"[We] have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled
by morality and religion…Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is
wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

The belief by our Founders, in the necessity for religion and morality IN government, is crystal clear.  Equally clear is their belief in religious freedom FROM Federal government action (laws).  Specifically, in the First Amendment to the Constitution, The Federal Government is prohibited from establishing a "national" religion or interfering with the free exercise of religion - period!  THIS is what Thomas Jefferson meant in his letter to the Danbury Baptists describing a "wall of separation".  Beyond that, any claims that it means anything else - particularly those "interpretations" forced on us in recent years by that black robed bunch of miscreants in DC - are purely illegitimate as they are not supported by the Original meaning of the framers of the Constitution!

Nothing else was intended, concerning religion, by those who wrote the First Amendment.  The only exception, to the prohibition of federal action interfering with the free exercise of religion, was when such exercise resulted in "… violent or deviant behavior which might threaten the stability of civil society.".

This is why there is, in truth, a "War on Religion" - particularly Christianity - today.  To destroy our nation from within, those who would turn us into "serfs" must first destroy the basic foundations of all of our social, moral and legal principles.  They must make us doubt all of the values, beliefs and principles upon which we base the decisions we make in our daily lives.  The minute we relinquish the right - and the responsibility - of making our own decisions, we give up our freedom and our honor:

"Each must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, and which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your convictions is to be an unqualified and inexcusable traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let man label you as they may." - Mark Twain

Destroying our belief, in our ability to identify evil, is only the first step in the process of enslavement.  The front, of the Great Seal of the United States, displays our National Motto  " E PLURIBUS UNUM" -  Latin for "Out of many, one".  America has often been referred to as a cultural "melting pot".  The melting pot is a metaphor for a heterogeneous(D) society becoming more homogeneous(D), the different elements "melting together" into a harmonious whole with a common culture and becoming stronger than its parts alone

The old phrase "divide and conquer"  is a translation of the Latin maxim, Divide et impera ("divide and rule") and describes dividing a large group into smaller groups and then encouraging them to fight amongst themselves.  I don't suppose anyone has noticed how much the AOE, constantly uses every excuse to divide us into different groups by any means possible - race, gender, occupation, religion, etc...ad infinitum, and then does everything they can to pit us against each other! Any doubt why the AOE (left) always uses "identity Politics"(D)?

The most blatant, and insidious, example of this is the "Hyphenated-American".  Every day we are bombarded with this tactic of division.  It is almost impossible to go through a day without hearing some form of "(something) -American" used to describe someone - with the sole purpose of separating the person or group described from others.  Theodore Roosevelt left no doubt as to the danger in divided alliance:

"We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all."

Throughout the entire fabric of our society "good", "evil" and "truth" have been replaced with "Relativism" which holds that there are no absolute truths, no absolute good or evil.  The very concepts of morality, hard work, independence, self-reliance, thrift, honor and duty - the very essence of American Exceptionalism - have been denied, twisted, distorted and denigrated - with little or no opposition - particularly in our education system!

We have, once again, proven Santayana's maxim - we continue to refuse to learn from history while those who would enslave us HAVE learned from history.  They remember, and use, the tried and true methods so plainly engraved in the record of history.  How - and why - have they been so successful?  The answer echoes down to us through the corridors of history:  Not a day goes by that the AOE don't use all of the following:

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."  "Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever" - Vladimir Lenin

"If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed"- Adolf Hitler. ***AOE Favorite***

"By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise." - Adolf Hitler
