One of the major attacks on our nation has been the corruption of our education system into a, publicly funded, propaganda organization designed to destroy the understanding and belief in the principles and values upon which our nation is based. At least three generations of our children have been indoctrinated in the idea that our country is evil, that "Statism" (in its many forms) is good and that rights come only from "The State". It's ironic that the name given to this system, "Common Core", Subtly hints at it's real nature..."Commie Core"!!

Faced with three generations of lies, propaganda and indoctrination, if we are to be able to intelligently judge the evil assaults on all aspects of our society, we need to remember our history, the values and principles that are the foundation of our nation and, once again return to our heritage:
"[Our] heritage is the indomitable will of a free people,
dedicated to freedom and individual justice for all."
"It is [our] responsibility to nurture, protect and pass this heritage on to those who follow."

Etymology is the study of the history of words, their origins, and how their form and meaning have changed over time.(*) Anyone with teenaged children knows this concept by heart. As our evidence spans over two centuries, we will need to revisit some of the terms and concepts, used by our Founders, lest we trip over our....etymology.
